Master’s Degree Program in Public Administration to be launched in Turkmenistan this year

The EU-funded project “Support for Public Administration Capacity Building in Turkmenistan”, implemented in joint cooperation with the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan, finalizes the development of a two-year Master’s degree Program in Public Administration, which is planned to be launched in 2021. The aim of the master’s program is to prepare highly qualified specialists for work in government and self-government bodies, state corporations and concerns, budgetary institutions, research organizations and think tanks.

The Master’s Program will focus on the best international practices and national experience in the management of socio-economic infrastructures, case-studies and provide an opportunity for each master student to try his/her hand at implementation of management projects in government bodies.

Most of the academic disciplines will be aimed at the formation of strategic thinking in the process of the development and adoption of managerial decisions that ensure an implementation of the priority directions of our country’s development in the particular areas of the national economy of Turkmenistan.
